What is the dress code?

We kindly ask all guests to wear black formal attire. This may include black suits (a white dress shirt is perfectly fine), black gowns, or other black formalwear. Subtle patterns or textures are welcome, provided black remains the primary color of the outfit.

 

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We kindly request no children attend.

 

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation.

Venue & Event Details

 

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Both will take place in the ballroom at the Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis. After the ceremony, guests will enjoy cocktail hour at the rooftop lounge before returning to the ballroom for the reception.

 

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be indoors, with cocktail hour on the rooftop. In the case of inclement weather, cocktail hour will take place in the indoor portion of the rooftop lounge.

 

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask guests to keep phones away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present while our photographer captures the moment.

 

Will dinner be served? Will the bar be open?

Yes and yes!

Travel & Accommodations

 

Where should I stay?

We have reserved a room block for guests at the Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis, which is also the ceremony and reception venue. Please use the “Travel & Info” section of our website to book within our room block. Reservations must be made by August 7 to receive the discounted guest rate.

 

I only see rooms with one king bed available. Are rooms with two queen beds available?

Yes, rooms with two queen beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would prefer this option, please contact Hope or DaMon for booking assistance.

Parking

 

Is parking available?

Valet parking is available through a third-party garage attached to the hotel. Guests who charge parking to their rooms will receive in-and-out privileges.

• Overnight Valet Parking: $33 per night

• Daily Valet Parking (Event): $16 per day

 

If you prefer, there is also nearby self-parking available at the MLGW Garage (246 S Front St) located across the street. Payment is due upon entry.
